Minister David John

Minister David John (or “Min. DJ” as he is affectionately called) is a loyal husband, a proud new daddy, and the Youth Pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Center’s youth ministry, Glory Phi God. Glory Phi God exists to teach youth, grades 6 - 12, how to glorify God in their spirits, souls, and bodies. This has been Min. DJ’s personal mission for over 4 years.

He is a 2003 graduate of the Word of Faith Bible Training Center where he served as Vice-President on the student council. During his career as a youth worker, Min. John has received awards and recognition from such organizations as the National Congress for Community Economic Development, Drug Education For Youth (DEFY), Detroit Housing Commission, the Detroit Youth Foundation, and the City of Detroit Student Council.

As a talented preacher, singer, and emcee, Min. DJ’s ministry style is unique, fun and effective. His love for God and His people are evident, and they drive him to continually seek ways to be more effective and bear more fruit in the Kingdom of God.
