"Volunteers Wanted"
Making a difference in the life a teenager is one of the most rewarding acts of service there is. If you have a heart for connecting with young people and helping them to develop strong and lasting relationships with Christ, Glory Phi God Youth Ministry is the place for you! God is doing awesome things in and through the youth ministry. Come check out the youth service and see for yourself!
Our services are held in the Hagin Gymnasium, located across the parking lot from the main church building. We meet every Wednesday at 7pm and on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month at 11:00am.
Criteria for becoming a Youth Ministry Team Leader:
- Must meet all Ministry of Helps general requirements
- Must be a member of Word of Faith for at least 6 months
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must be available to serve on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 9:00pm
- Must enjoy working with youth in grades 6-12.
Process for becoming a Youth Ministry Team Leader:
- Complete and submit application packet (can be obtained and submitted at the Youth Ministry Registration Area in the Hagin Gym during youth services)
- Once your application is received, the Youth Ministry secretary will contact you to schedule a meeting with the Youth Pastor
- Attend youth services while you wait to meet with the Youth Pastor (Be sure to sign in at the Registration Area whenever you attend)
- Read the entire Team Leader Manual, which you will receive from the Registration Area when you request an application.
- Following your meeting, if the Youth Pastor is in agreement with your desire to serve as a team leader:
- You will be added to the official Team Leader roster
- You will receive an authorization form that will allow you take your Ministry of Helps Badge picture
- You will be trained during youth service for the first several weeks in the various team leader roles and positions
